Loading ...The Asus ultra portable series are small laptops with big specifications. The Asus U6VC is a great full purpose mini computer that blows away most of the similar sized competition. 
The ultra portable series are full featured laptops and not strictly speaking part of a netbook range, which Asus deliver via the EEE brand. However it qualifies on small laptop guru by nature of its portability and 12.1 inch screen size.
The U6VC has a Core 2 Duo processor, running at 2.26GHz each (that’s TWO processors in one) and the Nvidia GeForce 9300M dedicated 256MB graphics memory. That means high end computer tasks like gaming and graphic manipulation are more than possible on this mini laptop.
It also comes with a massive 3GB RAM memory and an integrated DVD Super multi DL (Dual layer) drive and Vista Home Premium making this, at 1.6Kg in weight, one of the outstanding small laptops of 2009. Well done Asus!!
