Packard Bell up their game with Dot S2

Since back in 2008, Packard Bell has really started to step up their game in terms of the small laptops they produce, and the array of specifications and sizes offered by the brand. The latest addition to the Packard Bell family is the Packard Bell Dot S2, which is already being coined as one of the most stylish and portable small laptops on the market. Not only does it look good and prove to be mobile, the D2 also features a few new tricks that can be tucked under its small laptop sleeve.

This laptop comes in three colors, including red, white, and black and the chassis that weights 1.2 Kgs looks stunning. The black keyboard and addition of blue lighting give this netbook a unique look with a lot of spunk considering its low price.

Some reviewers picked on the size of the large battery, but in many ways it does not affect the small laptop’s portability and in the end ensures up to 463 minutes of power. Acer inspired keyboards are used in these units, which means that usability is a definite bonus, even for people with larger hands that plan on typing a lot.

Same but different?

The Dot S2 comes in three models which are almost identical in terms of screen size, hard drive space, memory and the Operating System. In fact the only place we can see a difference is in battery life

What might be most impressive about this small business laptop is the vibrancy and color that is packed into the 10.1 inch TFT screen. It is a pleasure to use as all images are vivid and sharp and that even boring word documents look intriguing.
