Small laptop Keyboard error Numbers appear as letters on keyboard

Remove the number lock on your keyboard to fix random numbers and symbols appearing when you type certain keys.

A common error on small laptops is that numbers and punctuation and brackets and parentheses appear on your screen when you are typing on your keyboard.

Because small laptops integrate the numerical pad within the main 26 letters of the alphabet, then if you have hit Number Lock by mistake, you will be typing the secondary

keys or numberical keypad. Took me ages to figure that out the first time, and its surprisingly a common fault.
