To watch what’s on your small laptop on your computer monitor or your LCD Tv, follow these simple steps. You probably have all the equipment you need. STEP1: Locate the VGA port on the back or side of your small laptop. The 15-pin port is normally blue or black, but it could be another colour, depending on the laptop brand. The port may also be sealed by a cover or flap. vga port to connect your screen to STEP2: Follow the cable found at the back of the monitor, and once removed from your PC, plug it into the port you located above. (Many Tvs have VGA ports, though you may need to buy a separate VGA cable) monitor vga cable STEP3: On your small device there is usually a Function Key which allows you to switch between displays, i.e. the small laptop screen or your wide screen monitor. It is usually marked by a shaded and unshaded square symbol. Press to switch between monitor and laptop STEP4: Change the resolution on your small laptop to adopt the new size of the larger display. Usually this is done by right-clicking your desktop, select properties, and selecting Display settings. Adjust the setting until its right. right-click desktop; select 'properties' STEP 5: ENJOY!
