Sony Vaio Mini W Series Review

Better late than never, looks like Sony is entering the netbook market with this mini W and from initial looks, its pretty decent, and keeping with the distinctive Sony style.

All the usual small laptop components are available but the standout is the screen, 1366 x 768 on a 10.1″ screen giving much more shaper and higher resolution. That resolution normally comes with 14 inch laptops so get your magnifying glasses out for the text!! Also a little disappointing that you cant upgrade the RAM to 2GB.

Estimated price is $500-600 though we will have to see if its taken up as widely as its $200 cheaper counterparts.

Having said that the price of Sony Vaios compared to normal laptops didn’t really affect consumer sales as people bought into the quality brand.
